Clap Your Hands… have the unique talent of making any song they release sound fresh and new. ‘The Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth’ is no exception, from the distinctive high warbling voice of their lead singer Alec Ounsworth to the pounding drums or the simple yet oh so catchy guitar riffs. It is a song which is beautiful in its clarity, and although it appears to be a happy, upbeat tune, it somehow manages to be tinged with melancholy.

Thanks for the review Charlotte. I like your concise style of writing, so different from my exaggerated and legnthy approach.
It is a skill to condense the appraisal of something that you like into a format suitable for printed publication, whilst still making for an enjoyable read
