Chris Singleton’s ‘Worry Number One’ is an inoffensive rambling about the differing effects that money can have on people. Unfortunately a promising start quickly deteriorates into droning and un-engaging, background noise.
This is standard formula guitar based soft pop rock. Chris Singleton has taken a variety of musical ingredients and thrown them into a large saucepan. Unfortunately ‘Worry Number One’ sounds more like the reheated left over’s from a bland post Brit-Pop microwave meal for one, than the creation of a new gourmet recipe. Despite a good voice, there's nothing new to savour here.
