Dom Bryan can count his blessings the day he got electrocuted workingfor Pete Wylie as a roadie.
Afterwards he went home and recorded this gleaming gem in his bedroom. Twelve tracks of sublime strummed acoustic loveliness that constantly delivers. These twangy and spirally songs come froma mix of alternative country and numerous under currents of otherness to keep you listening (The track “Melody is not the Enemy” has a haunting chorus)There are some finely written songs here and they deserve to be heard on CD and live from this musical collective.
A delightfully eclectic and assured debut.
