I had never heard of Georgie Carter, and the CD I received didn't really give much away so I didn't really know what to expect when playing the CD. What came of my stereo was hard to place, kind of a sweet version on Lilly Allen.
The music is quite poppy, with urban hints and Georgie almost whispers the lyrics in a sweet, baby like voice. The songs are all about growing up, and so this is clearly for a younger audience, however it is quite catchy. It is also very easy to listen to, and without realising it, the songs will get stuck in your head all day.
I predict this to be quite big, as Georgie is stunning, but looks a bit like the girl next door too. With a major behind this it could definitely go places!
