Our Rating:
I have to admit this was not what I was expecting. I saw THE BRONX a few years ago and thought they were terrible; they were a screamo band, loud and completely lacking in tune. It was the kind of set that left me feeling about 60 and wanting to ask what has happened to today’s music? But this latest single seems to offer a glimmer of hope.

White Guilt is certainly not the scream fest of other songs; you can hear the impressive raspy vocals of Matt Caughthran which brings an edge to a somewhat unremarkable song. With a country style twang running through out both chorus and verse it reminds me of Shania Twain meets Rancid…which I know is a very bizarre mix!!

I don’t think I could claim to love this song but it does prove that The Bronx are capable of producing a song rather than noise pollution.
