The slow melodic guitar riffs, light drums and Chris Peck's emotive and marginally confusing lyrics “It’s hard to say how I feel in the light, I lost my way, lost my way, my own mind” all make come together to form on the whole a quite tedious song.
It’s always noble when a band donate their sales to a worthy cause, the proceeds from this release are going to Warchild, but after bringing us uplifting indie pop brilliance like 'Civil Sin', 'Shoot Me Down' doesn’t quite cut it.
