Review: 'BIFFY CLYRO'
'SEMI-MENTAL'

-  Label: '14TH FLOOR RECORDINGS'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'fEBRUARY'

Our Rating:
Fans of Biffy Clyro will gain their first taste of new recordings in over two years with the release of this download-only single, ‘Semi-Mental’. A very fast-paced and up beat tune, there are many similarities between Biffy Clyro and the early Foo Fighters and Bush with lead singer Simon Neil’s melancholic yet deep and harmonic voice strongly evident as a binding force on the track.

‘Semi mental’ is another trademark Biffy Clyro tune and is full of potential to make their new album, ‘Puzzle’, the most important British rock record of 2007. The Glaswegian trio prove through this new single that they are now accomplished musicians and worthy of the respect they have received. ‘Puzzle’ will be released in late spring 2007 on 14th Floor Records.
