Our Rating:
This single gives you not one, not two, not even five but seven different versions of this song and as far as I can see that’s seven too many. Like one of those scenarios that starts out slightly annoying but slowly snowballs out of control where by the end of it you wonder how it can get worse…well this is really how I felt about this CD.

The radio edit, which is obviously the least extreme of any version, is precariously balances between a rock and a hard place! I listened to the whole thing but it was a bit of a chore.

The best of a bad bunch comes in the form of version 6, the Emperor Machine Remix (I am assuming this means an emperor machine has been used to change the noise!) It has some cool psychedelic sounds at the end, something out of Dr. Who and also takes at over 2 minutes for the annoying voices to come in.

I do feel quite guilty about being quite so cruel, especially as I am sure there are hundreds of people out there who will appreciate the medley of electronic chaotic noises of The Knife, but I am really not one of them. As far as I can see ‘Marble House’ really is a waste of 7 peoples time, not to mention the resources that went into making the CD itself.
