Review: 'SILVER SUN'
'Fallen'

-  Label: 'Invisible Hands'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'April 9th 2007'-  Catalogue No: 'IHCDS 30DJ'

Our Rating:

‘Fallen’ is the first single release from the new SILVER SUN long player ‘Dad’s Weird Dream’. The intro is fuzzy and bass heavy, with distorted guitars crashing in. This, however, seems a little bit understated when the ‘Surfin’ USA’ meets TOTP Xmas 70’s episode-meets-Eurovision harmonies breeze through with dazzling smiles that make me reach instantly for the Valium

‘See Me In My Dreams’ follows up where ‘Fallen’ leaves off, and the impossible levels of cheese convince me that the band have beaten me to the bathroom cabinet and necked the lot. Meaning that they come up like synchronised swimmers, leaving me to endure the whole ‘Hi-De-Hi’ with nothing to shield my nerves from their impossibly upbeat sonic assault tactics.

I could cry at moments like this, I really could.
