Review: 'Ghost Frequency, The'
'Never Before Have I Seen A Man Alive That Looks So'

-  Label: 'City Rockers'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '10th December 2007'

Our Rating:
North-East London 5-piece The Ghost Frequency unleash their second single this year to make the perfect stocking filler for lovers of horror imagery and electro punk. Its fill title is too long to fit in the heading but is: 'Never Before Have I Seen A Man Alive That Looks So Exactly Like A Skeleton'.

They certianly go for wordy titles : the b side is un-snappily titled : 'We Built These Walls And Watched You Howl As You Knocked Them Down'.Despite this, their sound is a direct monster mash that provides the missing link between pumping rock action and mid 70s Glam pop.

Snarling vocals and high energy power chords aim straight for the jugular and make a strong superficial incision although it doesn't really leave enough a lasting mark.

It's good rousing stuff just the same and a fun video to boot, replete with their very own zombie guitarist to prove that even the undead know how to rock.
