A bright and breezy debut single with a Beautiful South style pop vibe.
Its piano led swing gives it an upbeat mood although the words are not so fancy free as they first appear.
The singer doesn't want to be holed up quietly in the country but is equally unconvinced that the bright lights of the city will cure his ills.
The jaunty whistling in defiance of this rock and hard place predicament nevertheless ensures the feel good factor prevails.
