Review: 'ALFONZO'
'Blind As Faith'

-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'August 2009'

Our Rating:
Belting out husky vocals and powerful guitar riffs, Alfonzo’s new single ‘ Blind as Faith’ could easily be mistaken for a Stereophonics song, with vocals that rival the likes of Chris Cornell, Axl Rose and Bon Scott, its obvious to see that Alfonzo are a band to listen out for.

With the upbeat tempo and impressive guitar solo’s, the band have created their own sound with ‘Blind As Faith’, which gives them a slightly different edge to the unique sound of the Stereophonics. The song itself is definitely going to get people dancing whether it be in the car, at a party or just around their houses.

Earlier on this year the band put in an incredible performance at the well known Latitude Festival. The performance was top quality and has gained the band a significant number of new fans as well as pleasing the pre-existing fans that the band has acquired.

The song is available to listen to on MySpace (www.myspace.com/alfonzomusic) and although the quality of the recording is superb, The Evening News claim that “It is on the live stage where Alfonzo really excel”. So if you ever get the chance to see them, I would suggest you do!

I would really recommend this song to people of all ages. Young listeners will like the rebel streak the band has in its sound and it will make the older generation reminisce about the music that was out when they were young, as Alfonzo does have a very traditional ‘Rock n Roll’ sound.
