From the start, this album is quick to pack a punch of pure rock melodies. The track ‘The Jackson Whites’ kicks off the album with raw vocals and intense guitar work making the album getting better and better as the track’s progress. The amusingly titled track ‘You Are Proof That Not All Women Are Insane’ even samples a well known nursery rhyme along with a pounding guitar and drum beat.
The band has been around for 20 years but this album shows that they are not stuck in the past, the 10 songs they have written for the album still have a strong rock sound but they have been adapted and updated so it appeals to the desired favourite music genre that younger and older fans listen to. Each song has an infectious catchy chorus as well as brilliantly harmonised vocals and impressive guitar solos, allowing the band in succeeding to meet the musical needs of people of various ages, gender and tastes.

The band recently attended the Kerrang! Awards where they won the ‘Spirit of Independence’ title. This just goes to show that the talent the band obviously have is definitely getting noticed by an extensively big audience and that number continues to grow.
I would really recommend this album to people of all ages as the style will appeal to a varied range of music fans.
