This hard-gigging London/Irish four-piece offer a double helping of finely crafted chamber pop with their latest single, 'Into Sunlight.' The A-side is light as air, the fragility of Dale Grundle's lilting vocal augmented by French horn, flugelhorn and trumpet to create nuanced performance, the effects of which aren't immediate but require time to be fully absorbed and appreciated.
Flipside 'ËœKatherine Cove' is understated and delicate. It plays like the soundtrack to gazing at old photographs on an autumn afternoon, and is touching on an almost subliminal level.
