Review: 'BOXER REBELLION, THE'
'EVACUATE (Single)'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '16th November 2008'

Our Rating:
A snarling blast of non specific epicness lifted from a London based band's second album Union.

This album was self produced after TBB were dropped from Alan McGee's financially challenged 'Poptones' label and following a brief, unhappy fling with a major (Universal) . A pre-released digital version of the album paid dividends as it reached to top of the US ITunes as best alternative album.

American front man Nathan Nicholson demonstrates his "powerful yet ethereal" vocal technique ably backed by the band's Aussie guitarist Todd Howe and a tight British rhythm section.

It is by no means original but Evacuate is a rousing calling card that will appeal to fans of no nonsense Brit-Rock.

Past reviews on Whisperin' & Hollerin' have been mixed, but this is the sound of a band that are beginning to find their voice.
