With a nagging guitar line, insistent bass and not insubstantial chorus, 'Anything' has all the hallmarks of a classic indie-pop single. What's more, while it is poppy and catchy in a Britpop sort of way, it's got a bit more beef and rock about it than yer archetypal indiepoppers, your Sleepers and whatnot, and Anil Kamalagharan's distinctive vocal certainly distinguishes Mirrorkicks from the countless other bands mining a similar vein.
Second track 'Think Fast' comes on like early Police with power chords and loping drums. It works. Not convinced? Check it out for yourself...
