This is one for dedicated techno-heads and novices alike.
Tolga Baklacioglue is a DJ/producer from Turkey whose background as a trumpeter explains the titles here - he's certainly no blues purist.
I Blues is a solid dance floor filler with the thumping deep house grooves set on repeat to hypnotic, tripped out effect.
You Blues is more of the same with the addition of brief unidentifiable vocal samples to punctuate the loops.
As with classical minimalists, the trance inducing beauty here lies in the absence of variation.
Dub Kult's remix strips and reassembles the raw ingredients to give the tune a spacier Hyperdub momentum and for this reason is my favourite of the three versions.
Head noddingly good.
