It begins as a simmering scree of dense driving guitar and then explodes in a chorus that is - and I hate to use such an overly popular and commonly misapplied term - anthemic. In this instance, it's entirely applicable, though. Choruses don't come much bigger and grander than this. Sure, it's a bit stadium rock, but in the style of 'Everything Must Go'-era MSP with a touch of Feeder. It doesn't matter precisely what they're the architects of when there's this much energy being poured into the statement. There's plenty of meat to the sound, the guitars are solid and there's enough fire in the vocals to make them distinctive and convincing.
Flipside 'Rack & Ruin' is similarly solid, brimming with bluster, and manages to balance radio-friendly accessibility with an exhilarating up-tempo rock sound. A band with a big sound that will surely be welcomed by a big audience (in big venues).
