'Prevenge' is, in fact, a compilation of Huoratron's (pronounced 'whore-a-tron,' apparently) two previous EPs, 'Corporate Occult' and '$$ Troopers.'
The first of these two EPs is bookended by original and remix versions of 'Corporate Occult,' a relentlessly pounding beat and endlessly looped motif of squiggly synths. The densely-packed repetitions coupled with the hypnotic tempo imbue the track with a nightmare quality, and the effect is intensely claustrophobic. This is true of both versions, although the 'Mixhell Remix' is mercifully shorter and not quite as heavy.
Between these tracks lie 'Gbay' and 'Prevenge.' A dense distortion fills the airwaves before a thick, grinding bassline kicks in on the former, and it sounds like it may have potential, but then a repetitive bleep and squeak enters the mix and not a lot else happens for the remainder. By the third minute, it's all a bit monotonous, and six minutes in it's more like torture. 'Prevenge' yawns and stutters and fades and stalls, wows and flutters over a grinding low-slung bass to woozy, disorientating effect.

The '$$ Troopers EP' is a three-tracker, kicking off with the title track, which sounds like an arcade game underpinned by another stomping beat and occasionally cut through with some skull-piercing shards of digital feedback. It hurts, and is not a pleasant experience. 'Hoedown' and 'Trolls' are more of the same. Not quite as heavy, but nevertheless dense, clumping and nauseatingly monotonous.
As a while, 'Prevenge' is certainly dark, but doesn't make me want to dance so much curl up in a corner hoping the headache doesn't last too long. Horrible.
