Review: 'LADY DENTIST'
'Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used to Do'

-  Label: 'Matchbox Recordings'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'January 2011'

Our Rating:
I used to have a really good lady dentist. Sadly, she moved on and as a dentist, her replacement makes a very good butcher. Neither of them looked like the 80s nightclub freak in thigh boots and gloves to the elbow who graces the cover of this single from West Yorkshire duo Alison and David Lestner.

'Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used to Do' is undeniably catchy, but it's also almost indescribably horrible: pure Stock, Aitken and Waterman style electro-disco, it bounces along fatuously. Hollow and vapid, it seems to mark the rebirth of plastic music and resurrects everything that was dire about 80s pop.
