WAYTER are a London based four piece that formed in 2007 although its members' geographical spread is as broad as Argentina, Spain, Devon and Berkshire. The band comprises Eddie (vox & guitar), Oscar (drums & vox), Juan (guitar and vox) and Dan (bass). This is their second single released as a free download from the band’s website.
‘Twenty’ is a guitar based Alt/psychedelia track, with a nice choppy twin guitar lead and some dreamy vocals, which are quite indistinct. What I could make out sounded like: - “Blind to everything, I’ll know what tomorrow brings.” The song floats by comfortably enough, but like a McDonald’s hamburger it left me feeling a bit empty afterwards.

I’m not saying that it’s a really bad single; merely that it didn’t move me as much as I’d hoped or thought. However, the band’s debut album ‘Feeding Time’ is due for release in May. Hopefully the tracks there will be a lot more substantial than this.
