This is a seriously crazy extended EP of four tracks plus five remixes ("refixes") by a bonkers quartet from Aarhus in Denmark.
The method in their madness is rooted in free jazz but they also mix Balkan-Gypsy music with electronics and throw in a hotchpotch of other genres like polka, swing, ska and even a hint of surf guitar for a sound they call "festive bending".
Instruments include sax, bass, air organ, flute, laptop and banjo.
The alternative versions of the tracks are by dEbruit ,French hip-hop producer;
El Remolon, a "Cumbia master"; a German group called Budzillus and fellow Danes: Bo Marley and Dokkedai/Dixen.

The Bo Marley refix of Don Texas is my favourite, mainly because of the inspired mash-up of George Bush quotes which have him saying things like "It'll take time to restore chaos".
Organized chaos is pretty much what ANALOGIK specialise in. It's a tacky sound that doesn't rely on a big budget but there's a real sense of energy that makes it all a fun ride.
I'd take a chance and book them as a party band any day.
