Review: 'Captain Dangerous'
'Forgive Us, We're British'

-  Label: 'I'm Not From London'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: 'May 2011'

Our Rating:
Melodic and with a lot of heart, Captain Dangerous's new EP 'Forgive Us We're British' represents a great new sound. Using interesting layering, Captain Dangerous gives the listener a single with heart.

The two songs on the single, 'Forgive Us We're British' and 'Everything Beautiful Reminds Me of You', have a similar sound to bands such as The Rumble Strips but with a little something extra added in. The passion in Captain Dangerous' vocals is clear to hear, and you believe every word he sings.

Captain Dangerous is something the British music scene has been missing, a band who makes simple but great songs. The simplicity of the songs and of the lyrics make a refreshing change to some of the pretentious indie that has been flooding the scene of late. Captain Dangerous create music that makes the listener want to get up, dance and let themselves go. Expect great things from Captain Dangerous in the future.
