Love Thing is the debut EP by AXEL LOUGHREY. Born and raised in Paris, Axel has already caught the eyes of music royality in the UK music scene in more ways than one this.
Having already experienced band life as the main man in Ruby Red Lips, Axel has now started his solo career and is determind to tackle the heavy traffic of the UK music scene head on. The descision to go solo paid off after being selected from an impressive 70000 applicants to rock the stage at Orange Unsigned as well as being championed by Jo Whiley.
This EP screams out for attention, mixing infectious rowdy rock and contemporary blues but managing to still ooze class, he has already proven he is no one-hit wonder pulling the wonderful 'Small Town, Small People' and the infatuating 'Galloway Hill' out of his musical goodie bag , so it makes sense that this highly anticipated release already has high profile gigs, and festivals appearances secured. It's not too presumptuous to say Axel could be the next 21st Century boy.
