Amazing, incredible... so original I can barely find the words. I mean, how did these guys come up with the idea for making expansive rock music, with big, solid power chords, with melodic vocals, occasionally contrasted with pained shouting vocals for extra angst and oomph? And how did they conceive of throwing in widdly guitar solos into every song? Talk about an inspired way of demonstrating their jaw-dropping musical virtuosity!
It's so... so... multi-faceted. The way they manage to be both sensitive and also rage-filled and angry, and to juxtapose those conflicting emotions to articulately... it's just so powerful and I feel they really understand how I feel on the inside. It's like nothing else I've ever heard, yet even at the first hearing, I'm so moved I might bust our crying: this is music I can identify with, that touches my soul. These guys absolutely rock and are my new favourite band.
