Review: 'Nazca Lines'
'Hyperventilation'

-  Label: 'Stressed Sumo Records'
-  Genre: 'Punk/New Wave' -  Release Date: '23rd August 2011'

Our Rating:
Fulfilling the promise of their debut 3-track EP, Seattlites Nazca Lines offer up 'Hyperventilation', a meaty slab of heavy-duty shouty 90s-style US post-punk. Built predominantly around a chunky, lurching riff, it's tight and claustrophobic, yet there's still room to manoeuvre in a few brief guitar detours that prevent things getting too predictable.

Solid, rabble-rounsing stuff.
