The first single from the album 'Twins' begins with folky female voice - Brigid Dawson (of Thee Oh Sees) - singing "we are the children" then lurches into three minute blast of fuzzy guitar driven psychedelics in which everyone sounds like they are high on something potent. This includes the author of the press release who describes the song as "Like an echo from a desperate war-torn future".
Ty Segall is a precocious talent who's on a roll right now and the energy rush is fine for the three minute duration but I'm not sure I could take a full album's worth.
