Imperial Crypt are metal, alright. They’re the kind of guys who stand around in woods dressed head to toe in black, sporting black and white face paint and brandishing swords. We’re in blackened death metal territory here, and from the opening bar of opener ‘A Moment of Nihility’ they come on full tilt and at three hundred miles per hour. The five tracks are forged brutally from a dense mesh of guitars and they don’t let up until the climactic conclusion of the last track ‘Rebirth of Identity’.
Not for wimps.
